Today, November 11th, 2008, is Epic Films' third anniversary. It is appropiate that today is Veteran's Day, because Epic Films was founded on the idea of making a memorial video for WWII veterans (see In Memory, our first movie). We've gone through many highs and lows and created quite a few awesome videos, but, like last year, have no anniversary video to celebrate. For more details on our past, check out the About Page.

Which leads me to point out that I am still having capture problems, but even if I could capture, I am plauged by schoolwork. I have a feeling that our fans, if we have any left, are tired of hearing me say this, but don't give up hope; I want to make machinima as much as you want to watch it. But the truth is, life is looming beyond the horizon, and I need to focus on doing well my senior year and find ways to pay for college. That doesn't mean I won't make machinima after high school, but it won't be a priority until I have time and the means to do it.

As usual, for the rest of the group, things are pretty silent, but we still keep in touch; by no means are we falling apart. In gaming news, I'm sure you know about Halo 3: Recon, an expansion pack to Halo 3, coming out next Fall, in which you play as an ODST after New Mombasa is partly destroyed by Regret's ship in Halo 2. Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3, two big games this year, are out, but I'm somewhat obsessed with EndWar at the moment. Try it out.
